Math Clinic Grades I&II – Elk Grove
September 24, 2014 @ 8:00 am - 3:00 pm
$195This course is designed to help those desiring a review of WWTT’s “Railroad Track” wastewater math method. If you are not familiar with this method, we strongly recommend you take one of our Operator Certification & Math Review classes to prepare for the exam.
This workshop is aimed at operators who feel a need to brush up on their math skills before the exam. Day one prepares those seeking practice solving wastewater math problems similar to those found on the State of California Grades I & II Wastewater Certification Exams. Much emphasis will be placed on the use of wastewater units in problem solving. Students will have the opportunity to work problems in groups with other students at their own grade level, and will also be given the opportunity to work problems on the board in class. Homework and practice math sets will be provided and reviewed in detail in class. Our goal is that each student leaves the class with confidence and a new-found understanding, feeling fully prepared for the math portion of his or her exam.
Students may also attend two classes, or all three days if they wish.
One Day – $195
Two Days – $380
Three Days – $565
